These are a direct replacement for the 67-72 C10 tailgate trunions. The bracket is CNC cut and formed steel that has a clear zinc coating to prevent rust. The trunion itself is delrin (a hard plastic) that is precision machined for a tighter tolerance than the stock metal trunion, which will also reduce rattling and noise from the metal to metal contact of the factory trunions.
